Voting is Self-Care:
POCC x The UK Democracy Fund x Clear Channel

Pocc partnered with the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust, the UK Democracy Fund, and Clear Channel to launch an OOH and social media campaign aimed at encouraging BAME communities to vote in the 2021 UK local elections. By Nevele was tasked with both art direction and creative direction for the campaign, as well as designing its graphics.

The campaign gained significant traction, being shared and reposted by notable figures such as Clara Amfo, Topple and Burn, Jessie Ware, Galdem, Amelia Dimz, The Female Activists, and even the Mayor of London, reaching a combined social media following of 1.5 million. Additionally, the campaign’s DOOH placements across the UK generated 12 million impressions, further amplifying its impact.

Voting is Self-Care.

Timed ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week, the ‘Voting is Self Care’ campaign encouraged people to view voting as an essential part of their self-care routine – right alongside greasing your scalp or taking a relaxing hot bath. The campaign aimed to highlight how civic participation can contribute to personal and collective well-being.
